CGLL Volunteer Requirements

1. Season Event:
Each family is required to work one event, such as Field Work Day, Opening Day, Home Run Derby, End of the Season Celebration, Fireworks, All-Stars, etc.
  • You must check in with the person or committee members in charge of the event in order to get credit. Your event is done once you are released by the person in charge or committee.

2. Snack Bar:
Each family is required to work one snack bar shift per child.

* This can be a parent, grandparent or family member as long as they are 16 years of age or older.  If you or the person you have to cover your shift fails to show up we will reschedule you once. If you fail to cover the make up shift we will then cash your volunteer deposit check.

The average shift is 3-4 hours. On weeknights (and weekend closing shifts) your shift does not end until the last scheduled game ends.  All shifts are over once you are released by the Snack Bar Lead Closer.
  • During your shift your duties may include but are not limited to set up, preparing food (this includes barbecuing) sales, restocking, sweeping, moping and general cleaning.
  • You may not bring your children into the snack bar during your shift. Please make arrangements for them if needed.

New This Year...
We are looking for Snack Bar Buyout workers...are you interested?  You must be
13 years or older and must attend a snack bar orientation/interview.  For more information, please email our Snack Bar Coordinator
