College Glen Minor All-Stars Power Past RCLL 9–3 in All-Star Showdown

The College Glen Minor All-Stars rode timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and gritty pitching to a 9–3 victory over the RCLL All-Stars in an exciting tournament matchup.

Early Inning Exchanges

RCLL struck first in the bottom of the 1st, capitalizing on a pair of singles and a steal before DJ G’s RBI single plated Andrew R for a 1–0 lead.

College Glen responded in the top of the 2nd. After a single by Benjamin Domasky and two walks loaded the bases, Rio Fama delivered an RBI single to tie the game 1–1.

Big Third Inning Turns the Tide

The top of the 3rd inning proved pivotal. CGLL took control with six runs fueled by a string of hits, walks, and errors:

• Daniel Anderton’s RBI single gave CGLL a 2–1 lead.

• Walks to Colton Boyer and Colton Hoffman kept the pressure on.

• A costly error allowed two runs to score, making it 5–1.

• Santi Sanchez added an RBI single to cap off the inning at 6–1.

RCLL Battles Back but Can't Close Gap

RCLL added runs in the 4th and 5th innings:

• Andrew R’s RBI triple narrowed the lead to 7–2.

• In the 5th, Holden T scored on a defensive miscue, closing the gap to 8–3.

But CGLL’s defense clamped down with key strikeouts from Jack Evans and Colton Hoffman, stranding runners in multiple innings.

Insurance Run & Strong Finish

In the top of the 6th, CGLL added one more:

• Jayden Hoffman reached on an error and came around to score on another misplay.

• Reliever Brandon Beck closed the game with a strikeout to seal the win.
