CGLL Junior All-Stars Blank RCLL 10–0 in Dominant Tournament Win

The CGLL Junior All-Stars delivered a complete team performance on Thursday, shutting out the RCLL Junior All-Stars 10–0 in a commanding victory.

Early Momentum

CGLL wasted no time getting on the board in the top of the 1st. After a single and an error, D Russell scored on W Little’s RBI single, giving CGLL a 1–0 lead. The team set the tone with aggressive baserunning, including several stolen bases and smart reads on wild pitches.

Offensive Explosion in the 3rd

The top of the 3rd proved pivotal. CGLL loaded the bases with singles and walks, then broke it open with a two-run single by M Acosta, aided by a fielding error. Z Battle and D Russell also came around to score in the inning, stretching the lead to 5–0.

Relentless in the 5th

CGLL added four more in the 5th, capitalizing on an error and continuing to pile on with RBI singles from W Little, K Henderson, and L Taylor. Their aggressive style forced mistakes and kept the pressure on RCLL’s defense.

Final Blow & Walk-Off Potential

In the 7th, Z Battle stole home to reach double digits for CGLL. Although RCLL managed a couple of hits in the bottom of the inning, CGLL turned their third double play of the game and closed the door with another strikeout.
